Challenge
The B2B tire business represents a large growth opportunity. Fountain Tire required a campaign that would demonstrate their commitment to the commercial industry, grow top of mind awareness, drive 30 new leads, and increase commercial sales by $1 million.
Solution
Based on the insight that, for the trucking industry, even parking for a coffee can cost valuable time. Introducing the Truck-Thru – a purpose-built drive-thru designed 20 feet off the ground just for trucks.
Truckers were notified about the upcoming Truck-Thru via signage along the highway and CB transmissions. But the real media buy came into effect after the activation ended. We then used Geofencing, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Search to get video of the activation in front of decision makers in the trucking industry. With both Facebook and LinkedIn, interested parties completed lead generation forms that were provided to the Fountain Tire sales team.
Results
This campaign generated one of the best cost per engagements we have ever seen. The cost per completed view was also impressive, especially considering the video was over a minute long. In the end, the campaign generated 55 leads with a 53% conversion rate, contributing to a $4.6 million increase in commercial sales.
The campaign was recognized with 10 marketing industry awards.
